Palantir Secures $10 Billion Contract with US Army Over 10 Years

Palantir has secured a lucrative contract worth up to $10 billion over the next decade to support the US Army’s growing warfare demands. The agreement removes contract-related fees and procurement timelines, providing the government with greater purchasing flexibility.

The deal consolidates 75 contracts into one enterprise solution, enabling Palantir to help the military streamline efficiencies and prepare for emerging threats. According to a release, the contract establishes a “comprehensive framework” for the Army’s future software and data needs.

This partnership marks a significant step in President Donald Trump’s efforts to curb spending by leveraging artificial intelligence tools. The deal further solidifies Palantir’s role in supporting government initiatives aimed at protecting US interests through AI capabilities.

As a result, shares of Palantir have more than doubled year-to-date. The company has previously delivered AI-powered systems under its $178 million contract with the US Army and has seen its Maven Smart Systems contract boosted by $795 million in May.

The partnership is also reflective of CEO Alex Karp’s commitment to protecting US interests through strategic partnerships on AI development.
