Palantir Technologies Inc. has been granted FedRAMP High Authorization for its Palantir Federal Cloud Service (PFCS) and Palantir Federal Cloud Service – Supporting Services (PFCS-SS). This milestone enables the company to provide its product offerings, including AI Platform (AIP), Apollo, Foundry, Gotham, and Mission Manager, to the US Government at the highest security baseline.
The FedRAMP High authorization is a significant development for Palantir, which promotes the adoption of secure cloud services across federal agencies. With this approval, Palantir can now process sensitive unclassified workloads in its cloud offering, making it an attractive option for government agencies seeking robust security and scalability.
“We’re proud to have achieved the FedRAMP High milestone for our full product suite,” said Akash Jain, CTO and President of Palantir USG. “This authorization is a testament to our commitment to upholding the highest security standards and enabling critical government needs.”
Palantir Federal Cloud Service (PFCS) allows customers to acquire its software in a matter of days, quickly delivering value against their hardest problems. PFCS-SS, on the other hand, provides a secure cloud environment for commercially available software, running on Palantir’s Kubernetes infrastructure.
The FedRAMP High authorization builds upon Palantir’s previous authorizations, including DoD IL5 and IL6, and demonstrates the company’s ability to support critical government needs. With this milestone, Palantir is poised to accelerate its work with other technology partners, enabling their software to be securely operated on behalf of USG missions.
As a leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Data Integration, Data Storage, and Cybersecurity capabilities, Palantir enables organizations to tap into best-in-class solutions. The company’s commitment to security and scalability has earned it the trust of government agencies seeking robust cloud services.
