US defense technology company Anduril Industries has partnered with data analytics firm Palantir to accelerate AI adoption in the US military. The deal combines their expertise to create a robust AI infrastructure leveraging defense data for enhanced national security.
Under the agreement, Anduril’s Lattice software will collect sensitive defense data from various sources and integrate it into Palantir’s secure platform for use in AI training and development. This data will also be used for storage and distribution of government defense data.
The partnership comes as Palantir stock gains traction in the defense industry, with a 120% increase over the past three months. Recent signings include a $480 million contract for its Maven Smart System and FedRAMP High Authorization from the US government, enabling secure management of sensitive data on cloud platforms.
Despite this growth, Wall Street analysts have assigned a Hold consensus rating to Palantir, citing a 49.27% downside potential based on an average price target of $38.73.
