Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff Remembered as Kind and Sunny Cheerleader After Tragic Death

Former nanny and assistant Andrea Canning is sharing fond memories of her late friend Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, who passed away on March 5 at the age of 62 due to a ruled suicide. The two met in 1995 when Canning was an intern at Baywatch, where Pamela’s husband David Hasselhoff worked.

Canning described their unlikely friendship, which spanned over 30 years. Despite struggles with a broken neck and back from a 2003 motorcycle crash, as well as financial difficulties, Pamela remained optimistic and “kinder and kinder” over the years. She often expressed concerns about money and being homeless but never faced those issues.

Canning fondly remembered Pamela’s positive attitude, infectious laugh, and outgoing personality. She described her friend as a “life of the party” who could talk to anyone and had an infectious laugh. The two shared many Christmas cards over the years, with Pamela expressing pride in Canning’s family and career successes.

Pamela’s legacy is one of kindness and positivity. Her longtime friend Terry Ahern called her the “kindest person you’d ever meet.” David Hasselhoff also paid tribute to his ex-wife, stating that their family was “deeply saddened” by her loss.

Canning shared a tribute on Instagram, saying she had no idea how much pain Pamela was in. She urged others to remember Pamela as a sunny cheerleader who brought joy and positivity to those around her.
