Panasonic has introduced two new cameras to its LUMIX lineup, the Micro Four Thirds G97 and Travel Zoom ZS99. Both cameras offer a range of updated features to deliver excellent image quality and usability for enthusiasts, photographers, and videographers.
The LUMIX ZS99 is a pocket-sized travel zoom camera with a 30x optical zoom lens, allowing users to capture life’s adventures from sweeping landscapes to intricate details. It also features in-built 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S.+ for high-quality videos even at full zoom. The camera can record 4K video at 30p and capture quick bursts of 4K PHOTO at 30fps, ensuring users never miss a moment.
On the other hand, the LUMIX G97 is a compact hybrid micro Four Thirds camera with a 20.3MP CMOS sensor and high-performance Image processor. It delivers superb image quality with vibrant colors and sharp details. The camera also features Live View Composite, which allows users to combine multiple exposures in real time to create stunning light trails or illuminated scenes.
Both cameras offer versatile video features, including 4K recording at 30p, slow-motion shots, and V-Log L for cinematic content. They also feature durable designs with dust/splash-resistant constructions, making them ideal for everyday creators. The cameras will be available in late February 2025 for the ZS99 ($499.99) and early March 2025 for the G97 ($849.99).
