The Florida Panthers are one win away from sweeping the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference finals. The Panthers have dominated the series, winning each game by at least three goals and outscoring their opponents 16-4. This marks a historic first three games of the conference final series with a +12 goal differential.
In Game 1, the Panthers won 5-2 on the road, while Game 2 saw them shutout the Hurricanes 5-0. In Game 3, they scored five goals in the third period to seal a 6-2 victory. The Panthers are now set to play Game 4 at home, where a sweep is all but certain.
If the Panthers win on Monday, it would mark their fourth consecutive conference final sweep and the Hurricanes’ 16th sweep loss in the past 15 years.
