PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake’s Collaborative Album Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200

PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake have collaborated for the first time with their album “Some Sexy Songs 4 U” debuting atop the Billboard 200 chart, earning 246,000 equivalent album units in the US. The album replaces Kendrick Lamar’s GNX at No. 1 on the chart, marking a rare swap between the two artists who previously held the top spot.

The album achieved its largest streaming week for an album in 2025, with 287 million on-demand official streams generated from its songs. This is also the highest streaming week for any album since Kendrick Lamar’s GNX debuted at No. 1 last year.

Drake now ties JAY-Z and Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s among solo artists on the Billboard chart, with a total of 17 top 10 charting sets to his credit. The collaboration marks Drake’s 14th No. 1 album, solidifying his position as one of the most successful artists in the genre.

The new chart will be released on February 25, 2025. Other notable albums on this week’s chart include Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” and SZA’s “SOS”.
