Paul Feig Denies “A Simple Favor 2” Delay Rumors Amid Blake Lively Drama

Director Paul Feig has shot down rumors that Amazon has indefinitely delayed the release of “A Simple Favor 2” due to drama surrounding star Blake Lively. The news came after an internet investigator claimed that Lively’s legal fallout with Justin Baldoni and reported feud with co-star Anna Kendrick had derailed the film.

Feig took to social media to deny the rumors, stating, “This is total BS. Sorry.” He explained that the movie has already wrapped up production in April 2024 but will not be released until post-production is complete. Feig confirmed that the film’s planned release was scheduled for spring/summer of this year.

Despite the drama surrounding Lively and her co-stars, Feig expressed enthusiasm for the project, saying the movie is “awesome” with amazing performances from Lively and Kendrick. He assured fans to stay tuned for more details as the film’s release date draws near.
