Actor and father of Chilean refugees Pedro Pascal has spoken out against the culture of fear that has descended on the US following President Donald Trump’s re-election. Pascal, star of the dystopian hit The Last of Us, expressed his concerns during a panel at the Cannes Film Festival to promote his new film Eddington, a pandemic-era neo-Western directed by Ari Aster. Pascal warned against allowing those in power to use fear as a tool for control, urging people to continue telling their stories and fighting to be themselves.
