Peloton Launches Branded Secondary Marketplace for Resale of Used Equipment

Peloton is taking ownership of the resale experience for its hardware devices with the beta launch of Peloton Repowered, its first branded secondary marketplace. The platform aims to make it easier, safer, and more rewarding for Members and prospective Members to buy and sell used Peloton equipment and accessories.

Currently in beta for sellers located in New York City, Boston, and Washington D.C., the platform allows users to list their used Peloton hardware devices, such as the Bike, Bike+, Tread, Row, and various accessories. Sellers can set their own price within a given range, but will receive a suggested price based on the item’s condition and original value.

Sellers who offload their hardware through the platform will earn 70% of the final sale price and receive exclusive discounts on new Peloton products. Buyers will benefit from a more transparent and trustworthy resale experience, with benefits including $50 off the used equipment activation fee, access to the Peloton History Summary, buyer protection, and delivery or pickup options.

Peloton Repowered is part of the company’s broader commitment to sustainability, aiming to enable circular consumption, reduce waste, and extend the life of its products. The platform is operated in partnership with Archive, a third-party resale solution provider. A nationwide expansion is planned for later this summer, with full buyer functionality expected to become available in the coming weeks.

Users can visit repowered.onepeloton.com to list equipment, explore FAQs, or sign up to be notified when the purchasing portal opens.
