Persona, a San Francisco-based identity verification platform provider, has secured $200 million in Series D funding, valuing the company at $2 billion. Founders Fund and Ribbit Capital led the round, joined by existing investors including BOND, Coatue, First Round Capital, and Index Ventures.
The funds will be used to expand operations and development efforts. Led by CEO Rick Song, Persona offers a unified identity platform that provides automation and orchestration tools for secure identity management. The platform is utilized across various industries, including AI platforms, retail, fintech, and more.
Persona’s identity verification solution is available in 200+ countries and 20 languages, catering to businesses worldwide. With this significant funding, Persona aims to further solidify its position as a leader in the identity verification market.
