Comedian and TV show host John Mulaney has released a new sketch on his Netflix variety show, “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney”. The latest episode features guests from the Vermont jam band Phish, who each take on a character from the classic sitcom “Seinfeld”.
In the clip, Mulaney plays the role of a telescope-wielding host who stumbles upon the iconic Seinfeld apartment. He recognizes Trey Anastasio as one of the main characters and continues to guess the identities of the other band members, including Mike Gordon as George Costanza and Page McConnell as Elaine Benes.
As the sketch progresses, Phish wraps up their Spring Tour and announces that they will begin a new Summer Tour in Manchester, New Hampshire. The clip also pokes fun at the idea that Phish could have been the inspiration for “Seinfeld” if it had aired in the 90s.
The sketch showcases the humorous talents of both Mulaney and Phish, offering fans a lighthearted look into the world of these two beloved entertainment franchises.
