A recent survey found that Americans check their phones 205 times daily and nearly every five minutes while awake, but phone addiction has dropped by 24% compared to last year. The study also revealed that nearly half of Americans can’t go a day without their phone and checking them during meals and work has decreased. However, using phones during movies increased by 54%. Despite this, cell phone use continues to dominate daily life, with the average American spending over five hours a day on their device.
