Pistons Brawl Leads to Ejection of Coach and 3 Players in Loss to Timberwolves

The Detroit Pistons suffered a tough loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night, falling 123-104. The game was marred by a brawl in the second quarter that saw five players and two coaches ejected.

Malik Beasley led the Pistons with 27 points, while Tim Hardaway Jr. added 20 points. However, it wasn’t enough to overcome the Timberwolves’ momentum after the brawl, which swung the game in their favor.

The fight broke out between Ron Holland and Donte DiVincenzo, who was also ejected alongside Naz Reid and assistant coach Pablo Prigioni. The Pistons were already shorthanded due to injuries to Cade Cunningham and Tobias Harris.

Despite leading by 16 points early on, the Timberwolves took control in the second half, outscoring the Pistons by 15 points in the third quarter and 10 points in the fourth.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Pistons. With their magic number to clinch a playoffs spot still at two, they’ll need to bounce back quickly from this tough defeat.
