Google’s Pixel Weather app has removed its 6-hour radar map feature as of this week, leaving users with a limited view of the weather forecast. The map showed a 6-hour precipitation forecast in certain countries and could be tapped to open a fullscreen view. However, it is no longer available, with all other blocks remaining intact.
The removal is believed to be server-side, affecting all Pixel phones and tablets, including those in active rain. Other features like AI Weather Report, hourly forecasts, and weather conditions remain intact.
The issue seems to have started from version 1.0.20250127.729684887 of the app. Users can still access other blocks like Precipitation, Wind, and Sunrise & sunset, but not the radar map feature.
