A 42-year-old man who went missing from his Domino’s job in Apple Valley, Minnesota, last week took his own life on Tuesday in St. Paul, police confirmed. Shuefuab “Shue” Xiong was reported missing after he failed to make four scheduled deliveries and was found unoccupied in his red Toyota Camry in Superior, Wisconsin, on Saturday.
Xiong’s family expressed concern for his safety and well-being after he left the delivery job, stating that they wanted to find him and get him help due to unusual behavior. A relative called 911 on Tuesday, reporting that Xiong was threatening to take his own life and had access to firearms.
Police instructed the family to exit the building for their safety before Xiong shot himself in a nearby alleyway. A search party had formed online with over 1,700 members, sharing information about the areas they searched for him. The Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by calling 988 or texting “Home” to 741741.
