Sony kicked off 2025 with its bi-annual State of Play event, showcasing several upcoming games across various platforms. The 40-minute-long presentation focused on smaller titles like Q-Games’ Dreams of Another and the next Five Nights at Freddy’s game.
Biggest reveals included Saros from Returnal studio Housemarque, launching on PS5 in 2026, and a new trailer for Days Gone Remastered, set to launch on April 25th. The event also featured gameplay announcements for Hell is Us, a horror-themed game with no map, and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic.
Other notable titles include Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a new Sonic racing game launching this year; Dave the Diver, a Like A Dragon crossover set to release in April; and Monster Hunter Wilds, which will receive free title updates throughout the spring and summer. The event concluded with a trailer for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, an action franchise returning from the same developers behind Streets of Rage 4.
