The Pokémon Company has launched a new puzzle game called Pokémon Friends, available on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. The game features daily challenges, where players can earn virtual plushies that can be used to decorate their rooms. A daily Pokémon puzzle game is now out for players to enjoy.
In addition to the new puzzle game, we also got a look at upcoming animated adaptations of the franchise, including the Netflix series Pokémon Concierge, which will receive its second season on September 4th. The stop-motion series Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu is set to premiere in 2027.
Other notable announcements include a new trailer for the upcoming game Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a cross-gen title launching on October 16th on both Switch versions. Updates are also coming to mobile spinoffs, including Mega Evolutions in the trading card game and a new area in Pokémon Sleep.
Furthermore, The Pokémon Company confirmed that the battle-focused spinoff Pokémon Champions will be launched in 2026 on both mobile and Switch platforms.
