Pokémon’s 2025 World Championships has kicked off in Anaheim, bringing with it a companion event for Pokémon Go that started on August 15th and will run until the end of the day. During this event, players can score exclusive items like a Pikachu wearing a varsity jacket.
The event offers several benefits for Pokémon Go players, including:
– Up to five special trades per day
– More Pokémon encounters during PvP battles
– Legacy moves being learned by certain Pokémon when caught
Players can also participate in the Go Battle Weekend bonus, which includes quadrupled Stardust and increased match limits of 100 per day (previously 25).
Several premium research tasks are available, including a paid Timed Research that offers exclusive rewards. The “2025 Worlds Premium Timed Research” gives players access to rare Pokémon, while the “Go Battle Weekend” Timed Research provides additional rewards.
Additional perks include boosted spawns for specific Pokémon and changes to the raid schedule, with increased shiny chances for certain Pokémon.
