The Pokémon Company International has signed a new licensing deal to see The LEGO Group produce its first Pokémon building sets worldwide next year. This marks a significant move for the iconic franchise, which previously partnered with Mattel’s MEGA Blocks brand.

Meanwhile, in other news, Italy’s Rainbow Group has secured the film rights to Hazel Riley’s popular YA fantasy web novels “Game of Gods”. The series has garnered over 6.8 million reads on Wattpad and retells Greek myths in a modern setting.

Additionally, Poetic Brands will launch a new range of Peanuts-branded babywear and accessories featuring Charlie Brown and friends across the UK by spring 2026. This marks a significant expansion for the beloved characters’ licensing portfolio.

In animation news, Titan Comics has partnered with Titmouse to produce a new comic book line based on Ira Friedman Enterprise’s trading card game. Craniacs, which debuted in 2023, follows two civilizations of skull-headed characters competing in wacky tournaments and competitions.
