A rare and quirky Pokémon-themed snack, dubbed “Cheetozard,” has sold for a staggering $87,840 at Goldin Auctions on Saturday evening. The three-inch Flamin’ Hot Cheeto is shaped like Charizard, one of the original and most popular Pokémon franchise characters.
The origin of Cheetozard dates back to around 2018-2022 when it was first surfaced by 1st and Goal Collectibles. It was stored in a plastic case for years before being rediscovered, according to an Instagram post from 1st and Goal.
After passing through several hands, including Arena Club’s acquisition of the snack, Cheetozard has now found its way to a lucky buyer. The identity of the winner remains unknown, but it is rumored that Logan Paul may be looking to downsize after previously discussing selling his Pikachu Illustrator card.
