Porsche 911 Carrera S 2025: Twin-Turbo Power and Luxury

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S has arrived, boasting a 473-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six engine and an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The manual option is no longer available, replacing it with the performance-enhanced GT3.

Standard features on the new Carrera S include more premium leather interior, brakes from the previous GTS model, and a sport-tuned exhaust system. The iconic 911 has entered its 992.2 generation, joined by models like the track-tuned GT3 and hybrid GTS.

Under the hood, Porsche has optimized the twin-turbocharged engine, increasing horsepower to 473 units while maintaining 390 lb-ft of torque. This power is channeled through an eight-speed transmission, with a claimed top speed of 191 mph and acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds.

The Carrera S is available as a coupe or cabriolet, both featuring updated styling cues such as larger air intakes and matrix LED headlights. Performance-wise, the car boasts improved ride comfort with new dampers and a more responsive handling thanks to optional rear-axle steering.

Inside, every Carrera S comes equipped with premium leather surfaces, including seats, dash, and doors. Additional features like ceramic composite brakes and Porsche’s PASM sport suspension are available as options. Pricing has increased by up to $15K for the new models, starting at $148,395 for the coupe and $161,595 for the cabriolet.

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is now available to order and will arrive at dealerships this spring.
