Porsche has relaunched the iconic 911 Carrera S, bridging the gap between the Carrera and GTS T-Hybrid models. The new model boasts a significantly upgraded powertrain, achieving performance levels previously reserved for the 911 Carrera GTS of the previous generation. The updated 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine now produces 353 kW (480 PS) and 530 Nm of torque, surpassing its predecessor by 22 kW (30 PS).
The sports car features an extended list of standard equipment, including staggered tyre fitment with Carrera S wheels, a sports exhaust system, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus. The new brake system provides improved driving dynamics, while optional upgrades include the track-proven Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake and PASM sports suspension.
Inside, the 911 Carrera S offers an elegant interior with high-quality leather trimmings and exclusive options like contrast stitching in Crayon. Standard features include Matrix LED headlights and a wireless smartphone charger, with additional options available such as a lift system and Sport Chrono package.
The new Carrera S is available in both Coupé and Cabriolet versions, with the Coupé accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 308 km/h.
