The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $750 million, making it the game’s 10th largest grand prize ever. The cash value of the top prize is $338.6 million. The next chance to play for this massive jackpot will be on Monday night.
Two tickets sold in Maine and New York matched all five white balls and won $1 million prizes, while a third ticket in South Dakota doubled the winnings to $2 million after including the Power Play option. Other winners included 31 tickets that took home $50,000 and five tickets that won $100,000.
The Powerball drawing will be the 37th since the last jackpot win on May 31, 2025. If a player wins, they’ll have two options: an annuity estimated at $750 million or a lump sum payment of $338.6 million. Tickets cost $2 each and can be purchased in 45 states.
Since its first drawing in 1992, Powerball has generated over $36 billion for good causes. The game is broadcast live on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights from Florida, and the overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 24.9, with the jackpot odds at 1 in 292.2 million.
