Premier League 2025-26 Predictions: Supercomputer’s Top Table

The 2025–26 Premier League season is just around the corner, and predictions are already being made. A recent forecast by Opta’s supercomputer has been released, predicting where each of the top 20 clubs will finish in the final table.

According to the supercomputer, Liverpool are favorites to defend their title, with a 28.5% chance of repeating as champions. Arsenal are next, with a 24.3% chance of ending their trophy drought and securing domestic glory.

Manchester City are predicted to make a strong comeback after a disappointing season last term, finishing third in the table with an 18.8% chance of winning the title. Chelsea, meanwhile, have a 15.6% chance of taking fourth place.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa are expected to compete for Champions League qualification, while Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion, Bournemouth, and Brentford will battle it out for Europa League and Conference League berths.

Nottingham Forest are predicted to fall into the bottom half of the table with an 11th place finish, while Fulham, West Ham United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also expected to drop down in the standings. Everton and Manchester United are predicted to remain relatively stable, finishing in 13th and 12th places respectively.

The newly promoted trio of Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland are forecasted to return to the Championship immediately, marking a third consecutive demotion for each side.
