Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Accused of Bullying Charity Chair

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing allegations of bullying from Dr. Sophie Chandauka, the chair of their former charity Sentebale. In an interview with Sky News, Chandauka claimed that she experienced “bullying” from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, including a incident at a polo fundraiser last year.

Chandauka alleged that Prince Harry wanted to bring a Netflix crew to an event, which led to increased costs and a change in venue. She also said that Meghan Markle’s unexpected attendance at the event caused an awkward moment on stage, prompting Prince Harry to ask Chandauka to issue a statement supporting Markle.

The charity’s trustees allegedly acted in the best interest of Sentebale by asking Chandauka to step down, citing concerns over her leadership. However, Chandauka is suing the charity, claiming that she was unfairly targeted and that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are playing the “victim card” to deflect criticism.

Chandauka stated that she joined Sentebale to uphold its mission and values, but felt mistreated by the princes’ behavior. She accused them of abusing power, bullying, and harassment, and claimed that her actions were a whistle-blowing attempt to expose poor governance and executive management issues within the charity.

The allegations come as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently resigned from their roles as patrons of Sentebale, citing a “broken relationship” with the board of trustees.
