Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released their 2024 holiday card, featuring six photos showcasing the couple’s recent travels. The card also includes a rare photo of the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet, who are just 5 and 3 years old respectively.
In the photo, Archie and Lilibet can be seen running towards Harry and Meghan with open arms, accompanied by their dogs Guy, Pula, and Momma Mia. The family is also proud to share a glimpse of their little ones’ bright red hair, which Prince Harry recently spoke about during an interview.
Speaking of red hair, it’s a trait that runs in the family – both Archie and Lilibet inherited their father’s fiery locks. In fact, Prince Harry joked that he was wrong when he thought his wife Meghan would be able to outdo him with her genes. “The Spencer gene is very, very strong,” he said during an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
This year’s holiday card marks the first time the couple has shared a photo of both Archie and Lilibet together since their appearance in Harry & Meghan, the six-part docuseries released on Netflix two years ago. The message accompanying the photos reads: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation. We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.”
The photo was taken by Alexi Lubomirski, who also snapped the official engagement portraits of the couple in 2017. This is not the first time Lilibet’s red hair has been on display – it was first shown off during their 2021 family holiday card and again when they released an official portrait of her to mark her first birthday in June 2022.
Despite keeping both children’s lives private, Harry and Meghan have occasionally shared glimpses into their daughter’s life. During a recent visit to Nigeria with Harry, Meghan noted that Lilibet loves singing and dancing because she gets to “jump around”.
