Protesters Take Aim at Elon Musk’s Influence in Wisconsin

Protesters gathered in front of a Tesla dealership in Golden Valley to protest against CEO Elon Musk’s involvement in the judicial election in Wisconsin. The event was part of a “Global Day of Action” with protests planned worldwide.

Seven weeks ago, a few dozen people protested outside the dealership, but the number grew rapidly as more protesters joined each week. On Saturday, hundreds gathered to show their disapproval of Musk’s actions.

Musk has spent millions of dollars on his campaign to replace a retiring Wisconsin Supreme Court justice and has also offered financial incentives to voters who signed an online petition against “activist judges.” The protests aim to counter Musk’s influence in the state.

“We want to do something, not just sit back and read the news,” said Sandra Rhude, a mother of seven. Rhude and her friends have staged protests on bridge overpasses with creative signs, including one that reads “DEPORT ELON.”

The protest was met with support from passing drivers who honked their horns in solidarity. The event highlights Musk’s growing controversy and its impact on the community.
