Proton has introduced Proton Sheets, an end-to-end encrypted spreadsheet web application. Unlike traditional tools like Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, Proton Sheets protects user data by default. This means no one, not even Proton, can access the contents of users’ spreadsheets.
Proton Sheets offers formulas, data visualization, real-time collaboration, and secure file sharing. Users can import existing files and manage who can view or edit them. The company aims to give users control over their data and protect against Big Tech’s data collection practices.
Proton Drive now includes a range of productivity tools with built-in encryption, including email, calendar, documents, and spreadsheets. More information about Proton Sheets is available on the Proton website.
