Qualtrics, an AI-powered customer survey software company, has agreed to buy healthcare market research firm Press Ganey for $6.75 billion. This deal gives Qualtrics access to Press Ganey’s extensive hospital ties and datasets, which it plans to use to improve patient satisfaction tracking and care offerings.
Press Ganey works with over 41,000 hospitals and organizations, collecting patient feedback and integrating it with clinical data. The company will be paid in a mix of cash and Qualtrics’ stock under the deal.
Qualtrics provides tools for measuring customer experiences and serves large enterprises, governments, and universities. Its previous owner, SAP, sold its majority stake to private investors in 2023.
