In a major administrative error, Year 12 students from at least eight schools in Queensland were incorrectly taught about Augustus instead of Julius Caesar before their final history exams. Authorities are now investigating and checking with all 172 affected schools to determine the full extent of the mistake. The Department of Education has promised fair and accurate results for affected students, who will receive special consideration due to “illness and misadventure.”
