The latest season of Survivor ended with Rachel LaMont emerging as the winner, taking home $1 million. Rachel outplayed her competitors throughout the season and made strategic moves to ensure her victory.
In the final episode, finalists Teeny Chirichillo, Sue Smey, and Sam Phalen vied for a spot in the final three. The deciding factor was securing the last immunity idol of the season. After beating out her opponents, Rachel decided to send Sam and Teeny to compete against each other in the fire-making challenge.
Despite coaching Teeny on fire-making skills, Sam managed to make a comeback and win the challenge. However, his performance in front of the jury couldn’t overcome Rachel’s dominance in challenges and gameplay. She won all but one of the jury votes.
Rachel expressed her surprise at winning, saying “I feel like I’m having an out-of-body experience.” The show will return for a new season in 2025.
