Rad Power’s e-bike market presence has grown significantly over the last five years, but the company was already established when its hardware was first reviewed four years ago. The Rad Power Radster is a commuter bike that comes in road and trail versions, both of which we’ve put to the test.
The Radster boasts a solidly made frame with equally robust components, offering good implementations of features often lacking in other manufacturers. A menu option allows users to switch between three e-bike classes, but performance doesn’t change significantly.
Priced higher than budget competitors, the Radster’s value depends on its features. One standout aspect is its robust frame design, featuring added bracing above the cranks that provides additional support and makes it suitable for years of daily use.
