Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford did not participate in practice on Monday due to an aggravated disk in his back. Coach Sean McVay stated that Stafford had a good workout on Saturday but didn’t feel well enough to throw on Monday. Instead, Stafford used the “restorative and rejuvenation” chamber at the practice facility to aid in recovery. This is part of the Rams’ plan to take it one day at a time with Stafford’s return from back soreness. McVay emphasized that while cautious, the team will be flexible with Stafford’s progress. The coach did not rule out surgery as an option, but stated they have not had such conversations.
