Rams Show Support for LAFD in Postponed Playoff Game

The Los Angeles Rams players and coaches showed solidarity with the Los Angeles Fire Department by wearing “LAFD” T-shirts and hats during their playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night. The team, who had to evacuate some homes due to wildfires in the city, held practice at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

The decision to move the game was made by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, citing public safety concerns and a desire to support the first responders dealing with the devastating wildfires that left over 25 people dead. The league has contingency plans in place for games, which allowed them to quickly relocate the game to Arizona.

This is not an isolated incident, as other teams also showed their support for the LAFD. The Los Angeles Chargers played a playoff game against the Houston Texans while showing solidarity with the department during their road trip.
