The Raspberry Pi 500 is now available, offering an upgrade to the keyboard form factor of the Raspberry Pi 4 using the internals of the Raspberry Pi 5. Priced at $90 USD, it comes equipped with a 32GB Raspberry Pi SD card and features a quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 Broadcom SoC, 8GB LPDDR4X-4267 memory, and VideoCore VII GPU.
The device boasts dual 4K@60 micro-HDMI output, 802.11ac WiFi, Gigabit Ethernet, and other functionalities identical to the Raspberry Pi 5. Its keyboard form factor also includes a passive metal heatsink for efficient cooling. An optional desktop kit ($120) is available, which adds a mouse, USB-C power supply, micro HDMI to HDMI adapter, and a beginner’s guide.
Additionally, an official Raspberry Pi Monitor has launched at $100 USD, pairing well with the new device or the Raspberry Pi 5. The monitor features a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display for optimal viewing experiences. More details on these products can be found at RaspberryPi.com.
