Ravens Coach Harbaugh Weighs in on Diontae Johnson’s Future

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh added uncertainty to veteran trade acquisition Diontae Johnson’s status after Rashod Bateman suffered a knee injury, causing Johnson to miss the team’s last game.

Johnson was not given any snaps despite starting alongside Bateman, who had limited playing time due to his injury. Harbaugh acknowledged that there are “moving parts” surrounding Johnson and plans to explore options in the coming days.

When asked if Johnson will remain on the roster, Harbaugh refused to elaborate. However, he emphasized that the team will “work it out,” citing a need for more information before making any decisions.

Johnson was acquired by the Ravens from the Panthers in October for a modest cost, with hopes of adding depth to their wide receiver group. Despite limited playing time, Johnson has been active in each game since joining the team.

Bateman is currently receiving treatment for a sore knee, which coach Harbaugh described as a non-long-term issue.
