Ravens’ Derrick Henry Pounds Steelers with 26 Carries for 186 Yards

Ravens running back Derrick Henry proved he’s every bit as valuable in the playoffs as he is during the regular season, leading Baltimore to a dominant 28-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in their wild-card game.

Henry dominated on the ground, with 26 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns. His most impressive play came in the third quarter when he sprinted past defenders for a 44-yard score, reaching top speed of 20.60 mph. He also added an 8-yard touchdown earlier in the game and a 34-yard run out of Wildcat formation.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson praised Henry’s performance, saying it was “like watching Lightning McQueen fly” when describing his ability to blow past defenders. The two players formed a strong tag-team effort, with Jackson adding 15 carries for 81 yards to help dismantle the Steelers’ defense.

The Ravens’ running game was nearly unstoppable, accounting for 299 rushing yards – a franchise playoff record and more than the total yards the Steelers managed by game’s end. Baltimore now moves on to the Divisional Round, either hosting the Texans or facing off against the Buffalo Bills.
