Ravens Investigate Justin Tucker Allegations Amid NFL Scrutiny

The Baltimore Ravens are taking a cautious approach to the allegations against kicker Justin Tucker, saying they intend to allow the NFL’s investigation to proceed before making a decision about his status with the team. Coach John Harbaugh and General Manager Eric DeCosta expressed concern over the allegations, which were made by 16 women in a series of reports detailing alleged incidents between 2012 and 2016.

Tucker has denied the allegations and faces no known civil lawsuits or charges. However, if substantiated, the NFL’s personal conduct policy could lead to disciplinary action. Harbaugh emphasized the need for the review to gather facts before making any decisions, saying “You can’t take an action without understanding, right?”

The Ravens previously stated they were unaware of the allegations until contacted by a news outlet. Harbaugh acknowledged his previous comments on zero-tolerance policies for off-field misconduct but stressed that this case requires careful consideration.

Tucker is a five-time all-pro and one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history. The team had already planned to re-evaluate their kicker position, but the allegations raise questions about Tucker’s future with the Ravens.
