Raw Pork Sausage and Bologna Recalled Over 10,000 Pounds Sold

The US Department of Agriculture has announced two separate recalls of raw pork sausage and bologna products from Baltimore-based Impero Foods & Meats and Oklahoma-based Ralph’s Packing Company. The affected items were shipped to restaurants and retailers in at least four states.

Impero Foods is recalling nearly 7,599 pounds of raw pork sausage products without federal inspection, produced between October 3 and December 19. The recalled items bear the establishment number “EST. 10827” and include:

* 10-lb white cardboard box cases containing plastic bags of “Old World Italian Sausage”
* Some products were sold at retail deli counters without labels or other identification

The affected states are Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Ralph’s Packing Company is recalling over 3,100 pounds of ready-to-eat pork and beef bologna products due to misbranding and a potential allergen. The recalled items include:

* 16-oz vacuum-sealed chubs of “Ralph’s CIRCLE R BRAND GARLIC BOLOGNA” with certain lot codes
* Some products were sliced and sold at retail deli counters

The affected states are Oklahoma, where the products were shipped to retail and food service locations.

Consumers who purchased any of the recalled products should discard them immediately.
