According to a post shared on her Instagram account, Mellencamp underwent a CT scan and MRI, which revealed the presence of multiple tumors that have been growing in her brain for at least six months. Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today, while the remaining smaller ones will be treated with radiation later.
Mellencamp expressed gratitude to her loved ones, including her children, family, friends, doctors, and nurses, who are supporting her through this challenging time. The reality star also shared a message of faith and optimism on Instagram, citing her father’s words about perseverance in the face of hardship.
