A new record-breaking rollercoaster is set to be unveiled in 2025, standing at an astonishing 1000 feet tall. According to industry expert Dennis Spiegel, the ride’s development is nearing completion with advanced technology making it a reality.
The coaster, dubbed “Megalodon,” will surpass existing records held by Kingda Ka and Superman: Escape from Krypton. Its structural engineering team has designed the ride to withstand extreme forces, while an innovative braking system will control its high speed.
Riders can expect an adrenaline rush like no other, with the massive coaster dominating a large land area. The project’s progress is “quite well along,” according to Spiegel, who promises it will be “breathtaking” and a groundbreaking achievement in the world of amusement park rides.
This record-breaker will challenge current tallest coasters worldwide, including Cedar Point’s Top Thrill 2 and Six Flags’ Quiddya in Saudi Arabia. With its unprecedented height and speed, Megalodon is set to cement its place as the world’s tallest rollercoaster when it debuts in 2025.
