Richard Jefferson Claps Back at Bobby Hurley Over Class Comments

Former Arizona Wildcat Richard Jefferson has fired back at coach Bobby Hurley after he questioned the class of his team, saying it was “relentless” and not being policed correctly during a recent game against Arizona. Jefferson took to social media to respond to Hurley’s comments, saying Hurley has “always been this way” and that he would complain about any constructive criticism towards ASU.

Jefferson also poked fun at the situation, joking about offering Hurley a lifetime contract and suggesting that Arizona will pitch in to help. He also pointed out that several other former Wildcats who played against ASU, including himself, Mike Bibby, Channing Frye, and Jerryd Bayless, chose Tucson over Tempe.

The two teams will meet again on March 4 for their final regular-season game. Jefferson’s comments come after Hurley’s game-winning loss to Arizona, which was marked by a confrontation between the Sun Devils’ players and staff and the Wildcats. The incident sparked controversy throughout the college basketball world.
