Richard Sherman’s WA Home Robbed by Armed Men

Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman’s home in Maple Valley was robbed on Saturday night, authorities confirmed. The robbery occurred late at midnight, with three masked men jumping out of a broken window and running away.

Sherman shared video footage on Monday showing the suspects roaming inside the house. His wife and children were present at the time of the robbery but were not harmed. According to King County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the scene shortly after midnight.

The investigation is ongoing, with no arrests or suspects yet identified. Authorities have confirmed that multiple homes in the area were targeted that night. Richard Sherman expressed gratitude towards his wife for keeping their children safe during the ordeal.

Security expert Max Anderson stated, “It’s a horrible and scary situation… Nobody deserves to go through that.” He praised Sherman’s wife for her handling of the situation, saying she did everything right by not resisting the suspects.

Anderson warned that targeting homes is a common tactic among criminals, especially when they know or suspect an occupant is away. To stay safe, he advised using both physical and digital security measures, such as removing one’s address from online sites.

Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. If you have any information, please submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers or text the P3 Tips app.
