Ripple has partnered with the DIFC Innovation Hub in Dubai to drive blockchain innovation in the UAE. The partnership aims to support early-stage companies adopting blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies, as well as traditional large organizations looking to integrate these technologies into their processes.
This partnership is a natural extension of Ripple’s previous initiatives, including its 2021 pledge to invest $1 billion in XRPL development and use around the world. As a result, Ripple has helped over 160 teams in 47 countries.
In addition to this, Dubai will host the Ripple Swell conference and the DIFC has given the green light for licensed virtual asset firms to include XRP in their services from November 2023.
This partnership is expected to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global fintech hub, while Ripple becomes more entrenched in one of the world’s financial centers. XRP will also gain greater recognition and open up new corridors of adoption.
