Rivian has now made its Commercial Van (RCV) available for fleets of any size, ending a four-year exclusivity with Amazon. The change allows regular businesses to buy the van, starting at $82,900 for smaller fleets. Two configurations are offered: the Delivery 500 and the Delivery 700, with varying payload capacities and storage space.
The RCV features a single motor producing 320 horsepower and 299 pound-feet of torque, as well as an estimated range of nearly 161 miles on a full charge. Charging speeds reach up to 100 kW for DC charging and 11 kW for AC charging. Fleet inquiries are now live on Rivian’s website.
This expansion marks a significant shift in Rivian’s sales strategy, allowing businesses of all sizes to benefit from the RCV’s capabilities. The move comes after Rivian’s initial partnership with Amazon, which ended in November 2023.
