RoboCop Returns to OmniTower in Summer Sequel

Developer Teyon’s 2023 first-person shooter “RoboCop: Rogue City” is getting a sequel this summer. “RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business” will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game takes place after the events of “RoboCop 2,” with RoboCop as the main character. Peter Weller reprises his voice role from the previous title. Players will investigate crimes, issue citations, and stop a group of mercenaries who have taken control of OmniTower, a high-tech housing complex in Old Detroit.

In the game, players will face hi-tech threats like anti-personnel turrets, flying drones, and heavily armed elite troops. The mercenaries can be equipped with miniguns, jetpacks, and katana-wielding robots. The sequel is expected to be shorter and simpler than its predecessor, and is being referred to as both a standalone follow-up and expansion.

“RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business” will build upon the franchise’s authenticity, which was praised in the original title with a 76/100 on Metacritic.
