The 67th Grammy Awards saw a triumphant night for three of rock’s most iconic acts: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and St. Vincent. Each won a Grammy award in their respective categories, bringing home the coveted prize for outstanding achievements.
The Beatles took home the award for Best Rock Performance with “Now and Then,” a previously unreleased track that used AI-assisted technology to restore John Lennon’s vocals from 1977 demo recordings. This marked The Beatles’ eighth Grammy win and their 25th career nomination.
Meanwhile, Rolling Stones earned the award for Best Rock Album for their album Hackney Diamonds, which secured their fourth Grammy win in the category. Multi-Grammy award-winning producer Andrew Watt accepted the award on behalf of the band, as they were not present at the ceremony.
St. Vincent won the award for Best Rock Song with her track “Broken Man” from her critically acclaimed seventh studio album All Born Screaming. This marked St. Vincent’s eighth career nomination and her first win in this category.
The 67th Grammy Awards also featured several notable performances, including those by IDLES, Pearl Jam, The Black Keys, and Fontaines D.C. While newer acts did not take home the top prize, these iconic acts proved that their music continues to resonate with critics and fans alike.
