Rockstar-esque Mindseye Game from Build a Rocket Boy Set for June 10 Release

Build a Rocket Boy’s upcoming game Mindseye has announced its release date for June 10, and the new cinematic trailer reveals a gripping narrative set in the near-future metropolis of Redrock City. The game follows Jacob Diaz, a protagonist searching for answers about his troubled past as he navigates the complex relationship between tech genius Marco Silva and the ambitious mayor Shiva Vega.

Redrock City is a “super-heated” desert metropolis with a volatile atmosphere, where power struggles and corruption threaten its citizens’ lives. Mindseye promises a thought-provoking story where technology and ambition collide, with consequences unraveling in a tightly crafted game.

The game’s release date coincides with consoles and PC, marking an early start for the highly anticipated title. Players can pre-purchase Mindseye on Steam now for $60/£55/€60, with a free deluxe edition upgrade offering cosmetic items and premium content to be released throughout 2025 and 2026.

Leslie Benzies’ new studio, Build a Rocket Boy, has drawn comparisons to Rockstar Games due to the game’s narrative style and gameplay elements. Mindseye appears to blend drama and action, with Diaz facing challenging situations in Redrock City. With its release date just around the corner, fans are eagerly anticipating this Rockstar-esque game.
