Rocksteady to End Support for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in 2025

Rocksteady has announced that it will no longer support Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League after its final season, set to conclude with Episode 8 next month. The game’s developers revealed plans to end support for the troubled online game in January 2025.

The final season will include an offline mode and a new playable character in Deathstroke, allowing players to continue playing with their friends. Previous seasonal content will also remain available. Rocksteady confirmed that Suicide Squad will still be available for purchase, with its in-game store functioning alongside LutherCoin currency.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has struggled since its release in February 2023, receiving mixed reviews and failing to regain momentum. The game’s poor sales led to a double-digit decline in revenue for Warner Bros. gaming. Other online games have also faced challenges this year, including Concord and XDefiant.

The final season will begin with the release of Episode 7 on December 10 and conclude with Episode 8 next month.
